TempMail is a free disposable email service. We provide a frontend interface that connects to third party email APIs to generate temporary email addresses. We do not operate our own mail server.

What Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. We have no backend server, no database, and no analytics. Specifically we do not collect:

Your name or identity
Your IP address
Your location
Your browsing behavior
Your email contents
Usage statistics

Data Stored On Your Device

Our site stores the following data locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device or reaches our servers because we have none.

Session Storage: Your temporary email address and session information. Automatically deleted when you close your browser tab. Used only to restore your inbox if you accidentally refresh the page.
Local Storage: Your theme preference (dark or light mode) only. Nothing else.
URL Hash: Your temporary email address may appear in your browser URL bar as a backup. This is visible in your browser history on your device only.

Third Party Email Providers

⚠️ Important: Emails sent to your temporary address are received and stored by third party services, NOT by us. We have no control over how they store or handle your emails.

We use the following third party APIs to generate temporary email addresses and receive emails:

Guerrilla Mail (guerrillamail.com) — Primary provider. Emails are stored on their servers temporarily. Subject to their own privacy policy at guerrillamail.com
1secmail (1secmail.com) — Backup provider. Subject to their own privacy policy at 1secmail.com

We strongly recommend not using temporary email addresses for sensitive personal information as we cannot guarantee how third party providers handle your data.

Advertising

We display third party advertisements to keep this service free. Our ad provider may use cookies and tracking technologies on their ads. We do not control this. You may use an ad blocker if you prefer not to see ads, though we appreciate your support by whitelisting us.

Affiliate Links

Our site contains affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we believe are relevant to our users.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies ourselves. Third party ad networks displayed on our site may set their own cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
